About the update, it's cool, but it is missing a lot of subtleties that the previous version had, like author banners, review titles/subjects, seeing a work's score in numbers, being able to directly access an author's page from the search engine, along with a few others. I also personally liked the grouping of the movies and the games with each other, and feel that the ability to select multiple categories in the search engine would be a nice touch. in writing this comment, I also found a glitch that prevented me from selecting the right spelling from the spellcheck.

What's the deal with the www.newgrounds.com/news/ page? Was the "riff-raff" section to much to publicly reveal?
The Riff-Raff was becoming increasingly dominated by sweatshop-labor posts advertising counterfeit goods. It was ugly but could also hurt our Google ranking if Google decides we're a spam / counterfeit site.
We removed Riff-Raff to discourage it for starters but we also need to make updates to block search indexing for "non popular contributor" accounts. If we can get the spam under control Riff Raff could make a comeback.
