I remember hearing similar rumors about problems with Apple's updates to the Iphone's OS. I've purposely opted out of updating my Iphone for that very reason. It kind of sucks that I have to miss out on a couple of applications that require the update, but from what I've seen there's no way in hell Im risking updating it.

Rather than complain about the Iphone's warranty not matching up with AT&T's service plan, I'd just join the bandwagon and insist that AT&T be taken out of the picture. Their service is just horrible. Not to mention how much the constant dead zones around where I live that only effect AT&T carriers really pisses me off.

My phone was broken not too long ago as well. So I went to the shop where I bought it, since my warrany was not expired yet, but I heard from there that Samsung propably won't fix it or in any way or form compensate, since they're happen to be quite tightassed about this, since similar phone models have been broken right and left and it's rare for it to get any compensation because of that.
So now I'm stuck with an old phone, instead of a new and a good one, all because I've ran out of money.

buy an HTC touch pro (the original one, because it's gone down in price now that the HTC touch pro 2 has come out) and put it on a Fido plan. You can get a monthly plan for 25 bucks - unlimited texts, unlimited evenings and weekends.

Apple's G4 powerbooks (pre-intel) had a cheap power adapter that would break within an inch of the end, in a few different ways. They refused to place a guarantee on them, charged $80 for them, and didn't change their design for what I believe was the entire run.

The worst ones (as in easiest to do) were:
- The metal cylinder that went into the computer bent, and as it had a slit through it, was reasonably easy to bend.
- The thicker plastic that transitioned between the cord, and the hard plastic end piece had thin parts to allow for bending, however through normal use, they eventually started tearing along those weak points. Wires started showing after a while, and if the adapter continues to be used, their would be a pop, and the wires would fuse with the plastic, being a potential fire hazard.

I don't think they made any acknowledgement of the issue, and didn't seem to care when I approached them about it. There was a case where a large group of people attempted to sue apple for it, but I'm not sure how that went.

I used to like apple, but that was the clincher.

Seriously they basically made us pay $30 to fucking beta test this horrible OS which they STILL have not even acknowledged or released any apology or statement that they will fix it. Even Adobe fucking issued an apology due to a lot of their software not being compatible with Snow Leopard.

Actually 50% of the software I need now is not fucking compatible. I am going to downgrade to Leopard as soon as I get a external drive (not a Apple one).
