Hi there! In case you didn't know, I created newgrounds. No, it wasn't made by some giant company - just some dumb kid who now has help. I also co-founded the Behemoth; we made Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers. Icon by Pegosho, banner by OmenaKettu.

Seems to me like these two occupy entirely different areas of being. I mean hell, Kermit's bitten Vincent Price.. WHO'S MICKEY BITTEN LATELY?

First. I am first no matter what. And it wasonly in 2004???? That is amazing.

Oh and no I had no idea. My grandmother did though. Seriously 2004? How does something that popular and so old only be sold to Disney in 2004?

I would have thought the Muppets were already bought by Disney considering the Christmas Carol movie and The Muppets attraction in MGM Studios in Florida.

    u live in a cave.

Actually, I thought that had happened a while ago... I remember there being a Muppets 3D show at DisneyWorld MGM in Orlando. I thought Disney and Jim Henson already had some sort of agreement, but I guess not formally until recently.

    Boy, Jim Henson....Marvel, what's next?

    Give me lots of money

I remember seeing a Disney VHS tape with the previews. They previewed

    "Muppet Treasure Island"

I think The Muppet Show used to be shown on ABC as well.

    ABC = Disney

I've been watching the 1st season of Saturday Night Live where each episode had a really irreverent muppets short with sexual innuendo, drug use, blood and guts, etc. They're all pretty entertaining.

I guess they've really come a long way since then...

Never watched The Muppets or Disney stuff much...

I was a big fan of Warner Bro's, Hanna Barbara, Tex Avery, basically Cartoon Network made my childhood go by. I will not watch the muppets unless my friends someday force me, I have no desire to; it's sad I guess.

Also I loved UPN, Comedy Central, and sometimes Saturday Night Live or Mad TV.

I didn't watch many good movies as a kid. Also I came onto NG alot.

    I did know that.

mickey is satan and Kermit sold his soul for weed

    How could they :*(

    ñamñam i like it.

    muppets are weird

No, I don't remember this, hmm well I suppose it was at least 5 years ago, maybe 6.

That makes sense. I remember seeing Muppet specials on ABC. Not to mention, the downfall in quality.

    REALLY?

Yes.... also another bit of news for you. Disney now owns Marvel.

I sense Newgrounds may be on the verge of a buyout...

I saw muppets in 3D at california adventure here in the O.C. Personally, the muppets could kill mickey. Hell, Animal alone would eat his head off!
But, I gotta say, since Gonzo is the best muppet ever, go see Muppet in Space, it puts the other muppet movies to shame.
