I seem to recall a few FBI laptops and HD's going missing, and with lots of citizen data on them.
It would sound more legit if this email came from the IRS :P
If the Feds want you, you'll know it by the lack of emotion in their faces and the dearth of compassion. Multiply by 2x if it's someone from the CIA; reduce IQ by 3x if it's someone from the TSA (if you can't swear an oath to the Constitution, you shouldn't be waving guns around in public).

Sorry, but why does anyone even take the time to read it?
Seriously, even I know that the FBI:
- Isn't gonna send you a warning email and by that giving you 72 hours the time to flee
- IF the FBI does that, the email would be at least 3 pages, explaining law to you and telling you why you've been arrested.
- And even if the FBI has gone that crazy, they would've known this stuff the minute you were accused
