Meh, games are a dime a dozen. Literally.
People pour them out for cash all over the web.
It's the movies that separate NG from all the rest (who have games as their center focus).
Polls also show most people like the movies the most on NG.
Of course, I'm biased, as I make movies and not games.
I suggest you replace the top banner with a giant photo of yourself and the words "I am Tom Fulp. I made this site."

I hate people who go to Newgrounds, yet are not really invovled in the community...err uhh say they are regulars on Newgrounds.
i've had a newgrounds sticker on the back bumper of my car for the last year and a half.
It's faded a little, but has never peeled off. And it's been rained on countless times.
I dont think anyone knows what it means.

I need to acquire more NG stickers, as the only one I had was from an award pack for getting on the top 5 for the month (on another profile). I slapped it on my car, but it faded and ultimately peeled off. The 120 degree weather in Arizona didn't help its longevity much.
I've had a few people recognize Newgrounds from a shirt I was wearing, but the topic of who created it was never brought up.
Thats funny. Seriously, how do you pull that one off. The first thing I knew about this site was that you created it. First and only. xD
Simple probability says that only a small percentage of people who actually visit the site will feel inclined to be active in the community and learn anything about the site. This example from Dan also goes to show that no matter how you organize the frontpage or how much information you try to cram on to it, the majority of visitors only care about the games and movies. I think you should start labeling your news posts "HENTAI DATING SIM DRESS-UP CHEATS HERE" or something to that effect.
I never get remarks on my NG t-shirts, but my Xbox Live logo is the NG tank (from the AH picture pack), and I get comments on that all the time. I tell them where I got the pic from and how AH is related to NG, if they aren't aware.

Those people only care about games and stuff, they don't care that there is actually someone behind NG running everything and if it wasn't for that someone NG wouldn't exist in the first place. Forget about those guys there will always be people like that.
