[The Hunt for the First Internet Meme - LOVEWEB]

I specifically remember being at a frat party in college where a dude excitedly explained to me what a meme was and I was like "so basically viral content?" It felt like an alternate name for an existing concept, I didn't realize how mainstream the word would become.

Similarly when people started excitedly talking about blogs I was like "so it's making a post on a website?"
