I always say it's pretty sad that Adobe is doing this, but it's kind of their fault on the coding of flash, but on the other hand. Flash animation and the history here is going to be archived which this is why I love newgrounds. A website that has respected its origin despite being old news to most, or unheard of.

For a variety of industries, Adobe's CC suite (with some of their rebranded tools) still gets used for internal and external animations, ads, game trailers, apps and games. Their export format is different than the past. Google Web Designer gets used a lot for animating banners ads and such too.
We should not insult or look down on anyone's toolset, everyone learns differently and you do not know their tech/financial/govt/age/family limitations they may be dealing with, to be able to express their creativity. 8)

@technomantics Also flash(or now adobe animate) can export as html5 anyway nowadys so it's still a great tool even with flash being dead
@joshexdirad You can put a virus into a flash file as well so i don't reallly understand what's the difference
@Crazymonkey154 Well switching from flash animation to html5 if made pretty easy by adobe, because they added html5 functionality to adobe animate. The only difference if using javascript instead of actionscript
@omithealien The flash animation software isn't going anywhere. It's been rebranded as adobe animate and supports exporting as mp4 or html now

Flash is not supported after december 2020. So does flash player works for moblie?
We're using Ruffle to run Flash content in the browser and Ruffle works on mobile. However games that require a keyboard won't work well on mobile and not everything works in Ruffle yet. It will be a gradual process over time to cover everything.

I've been a longtime fan of Newgrounds and if I was rich I would give you all my money's to keep this website going in fact this website deserve to be more popular then any website on Earth. I read your blog and I'm glad that you're doing everything you can to convert all of the older files like the old games as well as the video so that they can be viewable in playable again on PC as well as smartphones. You do realize you created an amazing group within our generation who grew up watching some of the best Newgrounds artists all because of your wonderful website and your idea of creating a place where everyone to show everything to everyone.
