Hi there! In case you didn't know, I created newgrounds. No, it wasn't made by some giant company - just some dumb kid who now has help. I also co-founded the Behemoth; we made Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers. Icon by Pegosho, banner by OmenaKettu.

I love the lit and bio sides of the site. You gotta have that personal touch so we can identify the humans running this beast. Plus your story is kind of inspiring.

Weren't you working on some sort of friends list system a while back?
The Friends system was designed and the html prepped for launch with the 2007 redesign, but it was pushed to post-launch, and now we're working on a wide layout sooooo.....
It's always been one of my favorite sections. I even check it once in a while to see if you've secretly added more content! I'll add that it probably wouldn't be such a bad idea to take it off, you're a married man now with a kid - a family. A refined bio with truly important /funny/awesome events in your life thus far is for the best.
I always came back to Newgrounds because I admired that "dumb kid" producing the content which was ahead of its time, the one who created funny animations.. And I already paid tribute to you, it's just not my thing. <3

newgrounds has a home away from home feeling to it, and the fact that everyone here makes it feel like they're my second family.

i think you should just add on to the current bio, and yeah a bio section for each person would be really cool
People only ask for chat because we have a page showing it is coming... If everyone knew about the jillions of other unfinished features, they would probably want those even more. :)
I say keep it, its a part of newgrounds, its history, but you should consider adding more to it, though a lot can be learned from the site from reading the portal history collections. Still, keep it, even if only for nostalgic value, I really liked reading it and every so often I read it again. Newgrounds is very dear to me and you as its creator Im in debt with you.

I like that you have a bio Tom. I like that the staff page has funny tid bits made by Johnny. I would like to read about Ego, Happy Harry, Catoblepas, Luis (maybe).
I don't like the idea of everyone having a biography page... I don't know why. But it is probably a good idea.
On the plus side, I do feel like I can relate more to artists and people I like when I read stuff bout them.
On the minus side... Just feels weird I guess. Change is always a weird thing to for me to handle... Maybe I'll write about that in my bio.

Keep it, but write a new fancy one and incorporate it within a flash that sits beneath the old written one, that way you have a lot of creative control and can create somthing new that relates to the now grown up newgrounders =)
Keep it. When I first came to this site it helped me understand the history of NG.. and other shiz. Update it if possible :P
Definitely keep the bio, I read it and it shows that it's a human person who's in charge of the website, not some mindless Mark Zuckerberg.

Reading the bio definitely brought me closer to the site. Don't ever remove that bio content. Relocate it if you must, but there are lots of NG Old Schoolers who like that stuff. It definitely puts more of a human face on NewGrounds....
