Wait, what if we're posting a link to something which can't be submitted to Newgrounds? Because while Newgrounds is the main site for my work, if I were to make a live action film, a commissioned animation for a company site, a website layout, or a great big article with lots of pictures that can't be posted in the newspost thingy, I'd still like all my newgrounds amigos to know what I've been up to. Of course the vast majority of things I do can be uploaded here, and I wouldn't link to something on another site unless I COULDN'T post it here. Still, thought I'd ask because I am greatful for those posts and I owe it to you not to be a dick.

That sort of thing is fine, although I am on the fence with people using the space to promote sponsored games that have an exclusivity period... For example, "Go play my new game on randomgamewebsite.com, it won't be on Newgrounds for another two weeks." I feel like in that case, the poster is hurting NG (promoting a competing gaming site and pointing out our weakness that we couldn't afford to sponsor that particular game), and not really doing anything for himself - because he could have just waited until he put the game on NG and promoted it then.

Youtube is annoying simply because of hackers and that whole posting video law suits thing. I have noticed that whole youtube linking and it is aggravating, but I'm sure people do it so somebody else doesn't post they're stuff in youtube. This is by far the only website I visit anymore.
