do you have to pick one....i mean you can just continue to juggle names depending on your mood. you are most def a humble one about things...understandable.....just bringing up the question says "hey i made this stuff but i had help and your right to feel this way...all honesty it would never have blown up this way without everyone...but you have to confidently choose something, so if you can make an original name for your status you should cause this whole place is built on originality...ceo is the best way if those are your only options...presidents have to worry about assasinations.....your right about founder....yup this site may seem too small to you but i personally log on here every day it seems...this place is gonna get bigger.....if you are limited to the four choices above go with ceo...or simply say chief...i like chief

that's an easy one! ^^ it's really more dependent on how the creative control and general control of the company flows. Keep in mind this isn't fact based, but it makes great sense to me heh.

The title of CEO to me implies that you're sitting in a leather chair somewhere, legs on a giant desk made of wood from an endangered tree, with a nice cuban in your mouth; and that rather than RUNNING the company, you really just oversee the guys that do all the management work and stare at your stock portfolios all day long. As involved as you are here, i wouldn't say CEO fits you

I would say that the title of President of Newgrounds (assuming thats the company you list) implies the same stuff as CEO..so no to that too

Founder- i agree with your definition so again no

owner- I wouldn't call it informal so much as vague and subjective. I can own a company, but the name doesn't give a clue as to what type of management there is which i think is important. Like, i could be the owner of a company, but that company could be run by one really stressed out guy that does all the overseeing, or it could be run by a board of directors blah blah blah, you probably know the rest :).

so really none of those 4 fit you too well.. so look at it this way; you founded newgrounds, and as far as i know ( i could be wrong, dont know) you can damn sure end it. But you've appointed a few primary moderators to help you manage the site and keep it functioning properly. Because of their role in this, i'm sure they're all on a pay roll of some kind and have certain degrees of power in the company. A company has it's grunt office workers, and it's people that i've just defined, it's executives. Think of the newer mods that were appointed by you and the chief higher up mods as two separate factions. The newer ones would be like regional managers, and the primary mods and you would form what i would define as a "Board of Directors."

taking all that long winded babble into account, i would say your best title would be...**drum roll**...

THE "Chairman of the Board of Directors of Newgrounds."

it implies that you are head honcho, but are involved with the site and that you share your power fairly..doesn't get better than that :D

Founder is by far the least arrogant one (also probably the most accurate). Owner is a bit hard to use, as you mentioned, and for President and CEO I think you need to have a board of directors who select you to fill that role (not sure though).

Now that doesn't mean you should go with the least arrogant, in fact, you should go with the opposite. Go with the flow of this site and call yourself Lord-Master Fulp. Or Godking Fulp. Something like that. This is a site all about creativity, so why the heck should you label yourself according to the common titles.

Make one up.
