Too bad I already moved to Pakistan, changed my online alias and took the job for a dollar. And while I was at it, I shut down YouTube for a couple of hours last night. Now THAT is commitment. "I'D BUY THAT FOR A DOLLAR", said the guy who was running the commission. And he just did.
Though I highly doubt anyobdy could ever hire people and get the codes for Newgrounds and almost make a complete clone, even if they did it would never be such a successe. They cannot steal the members, the originality, the comedy, or any of the real things that make Newgrounds Newgrounds.

Just playing devil's advocate. As for "what is truly Newgrounds", it's the amalgamation of everything here, the good and the bad. At the core, it's just about enjoying Flash. Everyone enjoys Flash in their own way and NG reflects that. If people stopped having fun with Flash, NG wouldn't be fun anymore and we'd all move on to do other things with our lives. I don't think any one group should define what NG is, because no group is greater than the whole.

1. your giving extra publicity to that site.
2. a clone is just a clone. many flash artists start out on newgrounds and eventually hosting on their own site... so whats to say that anything will come out of this? people hear about flash on newgrounds first.
3. sue their ass? well if you sue them for copyright then you mays well sue any other site that hosts flash.
either way it seems that you have a wannabe competition.... good luck with it.
