Facebook is really broken. I only follow pages that I actually care about the posts so I want to see all of the posts but they're making too much money for it to ever go back to how it used to be. Sigh.

When I saw fake accounts in 2011, I bailed on FB, made sure everything was deleted |: The State Dept. paid over 640K$, just for FB likes? Would future sponsors of NG pay ad-rev based on 'engagement', would that even be a metric? What a mess the internet has become.
I'm also a Filipino.. But i actually found facebook complicated because of its system. I watched both part 1 and 2 of this video. You posted the 2nd part and i learned many things. In Philippines, there are many workers who just sit at home making a lot of money through internet such as advertising, marketing and these click farms. while others are just kids that keep on adding friends on maybe strangers on the right side of the website, fond of liking many pages, and posting some bunch of stuff on bunch of groups. The ones who are very active or addicted to facebook are Otakus (great Anime fans) and kpop lovers. These kind of people usually made a time to know foreigners or other strangers. They must be 3rd ranking on Philippine facebook users. 2nd are the ones who make money and the 1st are the average facebook user. 4th must be parents or old people who don't know much about facebook but did made their own accounts which won't be liking much pages. As an average user, I only like what I know. But the pages i like only few news get to me. After few months I'll go check that page and find so many posts i have never seen before or i missed.

Is Newgrounds dead? None of the staff post anything anymore... most of you haven't been active since 2012!
JohnnyUtah and I have been working on a console game these past few years, which is why we haven't released anything since Cathode Raybots. I need to take a timeout to make something for the web but our web games were taking longer and longer to make and people get annoyed when we make something small.

Well, if helps, i'am a fan of newgrounds for a while now, and I liked the site even when i didn't understand english (I'm brazilian). And i think its safe to say that you got a solid base of fans; I don't know if they are many, but they got your back. And that means something.

Oh yeah, there are tons of scam artists in the Philippines, they harass your average facebook user as well (like me for example). It's getting to be a problem.
