I'm just curious (and respect your decision) but what made you decide to remove or modify all of the 10+ year old flash submissions that contained copyright materials just now in 2016? Is it the potential revenue/profit system (sure there could be some workaround) that violates any potential "fair use" provision? where you perhaps given a cease and desist letter or DMCA notice?
We've traditionally leaned on the DMCA takedown process but have had some issues recently regarding licensing agencies who can't serve takedown notices but apparently want to circumvent the process.
I updated Pico after you pointed it out. The loops I had used were short and I had considered it the "under 30 second" rule but that rule isn't rock solid either and I don't want any of my work to encourage other people to do the same. I made Pico in 1999 when I didn't know of any resources for music, nowadays there are plenty.
It's so great to see all those people meet each other.
