will it be at e3?
Hi there! In case you didn't know, I created newgrounds. No, it wasn't made by some giant company - just some dumb kid who now has help. I also co-founded the Behemoth; we made Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers. Icon by Pegosho, banner by OmenaKettu.

will it be at e3?
It will be at E3.2
Cool man! Loved playing it in the NGHQ, cant wait to see what changed since then!
Excited to see how the crowd responds!
I'm as proud as I am stunned every time I catch a glimpse of it. Very happy that this masterpiece will fly under the Newgrounds name!

I'M SO EXCITED FOR YOU ALL!! :D THIS IS GONNA BE GREAT!
Finally some recognition for all your hard work!
I couldn't be more pumped for the first official reveal. I've been watching you guys pour your heart and souls into making this game, and I'm confident it's going to be very well received. Wish I could be there!
w00t thanks! Gonna be a crazy week, I just hope these last few weeks of prep go well!
wish i could go there, gonna be dope!
Damn, I wish I could be there to try it out!!
The biggest project any of you have undertaken!? Bigger than any of your Behemoth games??
Yeah, already been working on it for two years longer than Castle Crashers! Although to its credit, the third year of Castle Crashers was around the clock crunch. NC has been very steady and consistent development though.
I guess the hype train has left the station. Good luck!
I always love when characters' eyes/glasses glow against a darker background like that.
Will you be recording gameplay footage?
I imagine footage from Comic-Con will end up on-line, a good reason to get more of our own stuff out soon too.
I really want to see this game, if is as good as everybody said on the podcast it could be an instant buy for me. I really like @JohnnyUtah and @Spazkid’s animations and artwork.
Good shit Tom! Can't wait to see this! I always loved your games, you have a real knack for classic arcade-style gaming. I'm getting into game development too. My game's a fighting game called GigaMaidens
Looking forward to this game. Sadly, I can't make it to Comic-Con, but I wish you guys the best!
Day one purchase for sure my dude, can't wait to play it!
Looking forward to this!
I'll definitely be grabbing the game as soon as it comes out, can't wait :D
Very nice! On top of your Behemoth work, particularly Pit People at the moment, how do you find to juggle so many projects and family? Major kudos for it.
I'm not actually involved in Pit People development, that's all happening in San Diego. I did play PP on my Xbox this morning though, although it was still Update 3. Update 4 is launching today!

Why didn't you call it Nightmare Guard or something? That way it could be abbreviated to NG which would be fitting as it's the first game released by you guys under the Newgrounds name.
Man Nightmare Guard has a nice ring to it, too... Although people would get confused wondering if I'm talking about Newgrounds or Nightmare Guard, my posts would have double the NG.
I would be happy to hear if this game got greenlit on Steam. This gameplay and art style looks interesting to me since 2-D platformer is my cup of tea. Will it include DLC in the future?
We have other story ideas that could become expansion packs if everything goes well. Also would let us finish the core story without letting scope creep forever.
Do you have the synopsis yet or is this a private project that is still yet to be revealed?
The gist is you are cops who fight peoples' nightmares. There's a whole story but that will wait to unfold when people play. I will say you are in a town where lots of people are inter-connected so you get to see both good and bad portrayals of different people based on their role in different nightmares.
YEAH! I know everyone's gonna love it and you will spend the next years drowning in NC fan-art. And the day will come when you are ready to release and on that day you will ask yourself "How did the hype come to be? How is it still here?". And then I will descend from the rafters and approach you, silently, from behind. A vile grin will creep across my face as I whisper in your ear, "Because it was a cool game, Tom. It was a cool game."
That all sounds wonderful :)
And your voice will definitely be in there!

Finally! Been looking forward to this game since I first noticed it below one of your posts :D
Looks great. Best of luck on Comic-Con :D
