Indeed. I often find it annoying when I post links on Facebook and the only images I get to promote it are like...the whistle. And images generally do help the decision on whether to click something (heck, games wouldn't sell well in blank boxes).

Ugh, lame. Thank god most people I know who've seen this have seen it -on- NG and not somewhere else, even people who don't frequent the site.

Digg has power users that frequently and quite literally steal submissions from the "weaker" less known Digg users, and post things as if it were their own. It's something that people complain about constantly, and Digg has yet to come up with a legitimate solution for. I guess it's good that NG users are getting attention in general, which will lead new users to the site, but that's total bullshit that someone ripped your post off.

The 100 or so Digg power users countrol about 60% of the content that hits the front page. A lot relies on power users getting a hold of your stuff and Digging it.
I wonder if some NG store credit could grease their palms..........
