Just be glad they havent flagged it for copyright infringement or some nonsense like that. A lot of good stuff ends up removed because some jerk in a suit flips out over a parody.
45k subscribers and rejected partner status is a JOKE. seriously. I got a chanel with 300 subs partnered (not to rub it in), so i'm offended for you man. fuck them.
saddest part is it's kind of an essential market to help promote your site, in the same way you need a newgrounds facebook and twitter. hate them as we may at times they know they make people their bitches. I'm just glad I know you'll never make newgrounds anything like that (in terms of being an overlord dickhead that is).
You guys implement high def video and I'll drop YouTube like it ain't shit in the blink of an eye. That's really the only reason I go there in the first place. Also, what did you mean about Machinima mining content from here? They stole somebody's shit?
They don't steal stuff, they just bring lots of NG people into their network, which apparently pays well. It's just odd because the network is powered through some preferred-partner service YouTube offers to their top channels.
Even with NG having video, YouTube will still be an additional avenue for exposure and ad revenue so it will still be worthwhile for artists. I just hope that ultimately NG will be MORE worthwhile. :P

And now we know why Doomhammr doesn't upload his live-action short films on YouTube. (Have you seen any of his live-action submissions?) I got fed up with it because of Google merging it with their video service, and as a result my old password no longer works.
Don't even get me started on Google's mangled login systems, not to mention Google+ not allowing non-Google email accounts, which makes everything get even further from ever being unified.

Why are you converting flash to video to youtube anyways?
Only thing these video sites have over NG is embedding.
Now that iframe embedding is becoming commonplace we plan to finally address it. The embedding we tried in the past involved a wrapper file, but it was impossible to make it unbreakable among all Flash content. Without a wrapper that promotes your site (ala the YouTube branded video player), you're basically giving away bandwidth ($$$) without any publicity in return, so we want to toss a little NG link under the content in the embed. Also not sure if everyone wants their stuff embeddable so that may need a user-toggle.
Hey, it isn't all bad. Some hackers fixed up the Sesame Street channel on youtube to where the videos displayed hardcore porn. Of course, Google would find a way to get it deleted and display an "Unavailable" page for their channel anyway...in 25 minutes or so. But lord, I guess because of that they had a rough day.
Now if THAT doesn't catch your eye, imagine what all the kids were expecting from Big Bird himself...

I believe in you, Tom. NG is still pretty damn relevant on the internet, more than ever really... that's the sign of good leadership.

Talk to them, honestly that's all you gotta do. Tell them about their mistakes and hopefully (not likely though) they'll fix them errors.
It's hard to find people to talk to - I've tried emailing partner reps in the past but never received a response.
It's only a matter of time before NG supports video uploads in retaliation.
