We paid to have the NG Facebook page show up in that ad space down the right side. I was really just curious to see what sort of results we got - I liked that we could get really granular with the details, like college-aged males who like specific games and movies and aren't already fans of the page. Still, who even looks at those ads.
Why did people move from MySpace to Facebook, again?
Because it started out with EXCLUSIVITY and people like feeling special.

I admin one of my friend's pages, and apparently your fans/likers have to click "Add to Interests List" in order for them to see your posts. Otherwise, eh, they see it every once in a while.
Don't bother with promotions on FB, big companies dont see the profit nor the results, you seem be not much different.
Fuck Facebook and their bullshit advertising. It's just another way for them to make money by making us think WE'RE making money. Kinda like how Facebook got started in the first place.

Golfinho, Deviantart has a marketing and advertising team of 16 people, and a community management team of another 16 people, so I'm pretty sure they do have promoted facebook posts.
Also they have about 3 seperate categories for photos of naked girls, and literally millions of naked Sonic drawings, so you're PRETTY off-base.
